Why Does the Guest have the Incorrect Room Number Assigned?

What are the possible causes?

  • The guest creates reservations using different email addresses or phone numbers, leading to multiple profiles.

  • A reservation is canceled and rebooked by the guest under different profiles, causing the misalignment of the room number.

  • If using HotSOS check it is configured and that the field "extendedAttributes": is NOT NULL.

How can this be prevented?

  • Maintain a single profile for each guest and ensuring validation on email and phone fields to prevent duplicates.

  • Ensure all reservations and conversations are linked to the correct profile.

  • Request merge of duplicate profiles to Alliants Support team to help avoid confusion.

  • Verify that PMS and integration settings are correctly configured with the appropriate attributes and/ or for profile matching as per the article linked.
