Why an Image / Photo Automatically Removed or Hidden?

The Platform has a feature to remove or hide images if it contains sensitive personal information, such as credit cards, ID, or travel documents and inappropriate content. For security reasons, these images are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

If you notice that an image / photo sent to you have been removed or no longer visible, it is likely because the platform detected sensitive personal information or inappropriate content within the image. The conversation item would look like:

The platform automatically detect contents of images such as credit cards, ID, passports, and other confidential documents. It also detects inappropriate content such as nudity, crime, fraud, etc. When this type of info is identified, the image is removed to protect individuals from potential misuse, exposure of their private data, or unhealthy content.

Can the Image Be Recovered?

No. Once an image is flagged and removed, it cannot be restored or retrieved. This is a deliberate security measure to protect customers.

What Should You Do Instead?

If you were expecting important information in the removed image, we recommend asking the sender to share it through a more secure and private channel, such as email, or face to face. This helps ensure sensitive details are handled safely.

While the detection may not always be 100% accurate, it is designed to protest customers' privacy and maintain a safe community environment.
