Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) User Creation

This document outlines the process of user creation who logs in via SSO (Single Sign On).

User creation:

When the MOHG It team creates a new user by adding the email address to the AD group(s), the platform automatically assigns the user to the default department(s) of the property or properties associated with the MOHG brand.

Existing users:

If the user has been added to the AD before, the platform will look up by email address. If the email exists, the re-creation process will not add the default department to the location.

Key info: Roles are only assigned at initial creation. Missing profile fields such as email, first name, last name, cognito username, are filled in, but existing values are never overwritten.
