Why are there Two Guest Profiles with the same Booking Number?

Possible Causes:

This happens when a guest profile is linked to multiple profile sources, one of which includes a different name. As a result, the profile may alternate between the two names.

How does AXP determine which name to display?

AXP displays the name from the profile source which is set to "Primary". If the name keeps changing, it is likely due to multiple sources updating the profile.

How can this be prevented?

We recommend reviewing the integration setup in the Property Management System (PMS) or Middleware Connector (e.g., IReckonU). Specifically:

  • Check which profile details are associated with the guest in the PMS or Middleware Connector.

  • If using IReckonU, review the Person ID to see what names are linked to the profile.

  • Ensure the correct profile details is set as the primary source.
