Summary: When a location is removed from your brand in AXP, it stays in the background so that its past activity is still counted in your reports. This means removed locations can still appear in the location dropdown on reports, alongside your current locations.

Why this happens
When a location is removed, AXP keeps its history rather than erasing it. This makes sure your reports stay accurate over time.
For example, if you look at all messages from last year and one of your locations was removed halfway through the year, the messages that location handled before it was removed are still included in your totals.
Because the location's data is still in your reports, the location also still appears as an option in the report filters.
🗒️ Note: This affects the location filter on all reports, including Conversations and Requests reports.
Steps to follow
To view data for one of your current locations:
Open the report you want to view.
Click the location dropdown filter.
Select the location that matches the name of your current location exactly.
Apply the filter to view the report.
💡 Tip: If you see two locations with similar names (for example, Hotel Name and NEW - Hotel Name), choose the one whose name matches the location currently set up for your brand. The other one is most likely an older location that has been removed.
Common Questions
Q: Is my report data wrong because of these extra locations?
A: No. The extra locations are there so your report totals include activity from locations that have since been removed. Your data is accurate.
Q: Can I hide removed locations from the filter?
A: Not at the moment. Removed locations stay in the filter so that their past activity is still included in your report totals. You can ignore them and select only your current locations when filtering.
Q: I'm not sure which location in the dropdown is the right one. What should I do?
A: Contact your brand's Brand Admin. They can check which location is currently active by going to Settings > Locations in AXP. Removed locations won't show up here.
