Why is a Guests Digital Key/ Registration for the Key not Appearing in the Guest App?

Digital Key not appearing for view / Cannot register for Digital Key in Guest App

In the instance where a Digital Key Registration button is not showing in the app this is due to:

  • The guest check in process not being completed and they are not marked as "Checked in" in Alliants.

  • If the guest has already previously registered a digital key which can be viewed under the guests profile in AXP > Digital Keys.

  • Guest is not on the latest iOS / Android version.

  • Guest does not have the most up to date hotel app.

If both the above is not true then in this a circle icon should appear in the bottom right of the app to view the key. In the case the icon is missing as a troubleshooting step the guest can delete and re-add the app which allow them to re-register for a new digital key.

In the instance where the guest is already registered and the Digital Key Icon is not appearing for view:

  • The guest check in process not being completed and they are not marked as "Checked in" in Alliants.

  • Guest has not registered for Digital Key.

  • Digital Key was revoked by hotel staff member.

  • Guest is not on the latest iOS / Android version.

  • Guest does not have the most up to date hotel app.
