Contactless Check-out Request
The check-out process follows a flow to allow the process to be contactless. The flow of the check-out process is:
A trigger, which is set up during the creation of your property on AXP, sends a guest an email or text message with a link to their digital itinerary
A “check-out” button is available for the guest to click and start the check-out process on the day they are due to check-out
When the button is clicked, the guest will be provided with details relevant to the checking-out process, such as their guest folio which allows them to review outstanding charges and confirm they are happy with them, and be asked whether they wish to check-out now or later. If they select later, a time selector menu will appear and they will be asked what time they wish to check-out.
When the guest has checked out, their digital key will be revoked and a ‘check-out’ template is sent to the guest. Their status will be automatically changed on AXP to “Checked out” unless auto check-out is not selected where a member of staff needs to manually check the guest out of the PMS.
Note: If a guest has selected “Later” and their time to check-out, they will automatically be checked out at this time as long as it is before the guaranteed check-out time
