Summary: Templates in AXP can be edited to update messaging content, adjust formatting, or refine communication. Only users with the appropriate permissions can modify existing templates.
Permissions Required: Only Brand Admins and Location Admins have the authority to edit templates.
Editing a Template
1. Navigate to Settings in the left hand side menu.
2. Click on the Message templates tab.
3. Locate and select the template you wish to edit.
4. Make the necessary changes.
5. Click the button "Save changes" to apply the updates.
⚠️ Important: you can edit reactive templates directly.
Proactive / WhatsApp templates are greyed out so cannot be changed directly as the contents' change needs to be approved by Meta first.
⚠️ Warning: Any change to proactive / WhastApp templates without approval first will cause failure to use them.
