Summary: Allin automatically draws on data from AXP — such as guest profiles, bookings, requests, and location details — along with any content you have added through the Context Box, PDF uploads, and URLs. This article explains exactly what data Allin can access and what it cannot do.
Permissions Required: No specific permissions required to read this article. Location Admin or Brand Admin required to configure the data sources described.
Data Sources Allin Uses
Allin builds its responses from three types of information:
Live AXP data — Automatically available based on your location's settings and guest records.
Admin-configured content — Context Box instructions in Settings tab > AI Settings., uploaded PDF documents, and website URLs in AI Settings.
Weather data — Real-time weather lookups based on the property's latitude and longitude coordinates.
⚠️ Note: Live AXP data always takes priority over static content (PDFs/URLs) when there is a conflict.

What Allin Cannot Do
Allin cannot search the internet — It does not have access to live web search or external information beyond what has been uploaded or linked.
Allin does not take actions — It will not directly make bookings, place orders, or fulfill requests. It continues the conversation and expects staff to take any required actions.
Allin's general knowledge has a cut-off date — Its underlying model's knowledge is current up to October 2024. For anything more recent, information must be provided through uploads or the Context Box in Settings tab > AI Settings.
Common Questions
Q: Does Allin know who the guest is?
A: Yes. Allin has access to the guest's profile information in AXP, including their name, loyalty ID, booking details, and past requests.
Q: Can Allin check the weather?
A: Yes, as long as the property's latitude and longitude coordinates have been configured during deployment. Allin can look up current conditions and forecasts.
Q: What if the information in a PDF conflicts with live AXP data?
A: Live AXP data (such as real-time booking status and guest profiles) always takes priority over static PDF uploads.
Q: Can Allin answer questions about things not in its knowledge base?
A: Allin is designed to only respond based on the information it has access to. If it cannot find a relevant answer, it will say so or ask the guest for more details rather than guessing.
