Understanding Morning Report: Guest Briefing Report [ALPHA]

A guide to the Morning Report feature in AXP under Today tab — an automatic daily report that prepares your team with guest profiles, preferences, and AI-generated briefings before each morning's arrivals.

Summary: The Morning report is a daily briefing automatically generated each morning. It gives your team everything they need to know about arriving guests — booking details, loyalty status, preferences, service requests, and an AI-prepared summary — all before the day starts.

Permissions Required: No action is needed from your team to generate the report. All users can view this report.

How it works

  1. The report runs automatically each morning at a scheduled time — no action needed from your team.

  2. It gathers each arriving guest's full profile: booking details, loyalty tier, past stays, preferences, and service requests.

  3. It generates an AI preparation brief for each guest, highlighting key preferences, loyalty patterns, and recommended actions for room setup and service.

  4. The finished report is ready to print or view on screen.

  5. You can access it from Today > Morning Report on AXP, and download as PDF if needed:

Common Questions

Q: What happens if the AI can't generate a briefing for a guest?

A: Individual AI failures don't affect the rest of the report. The guest's card will still show all their profile information — preferences, stay history, service requests — just without the AI-generated briefing section.

Q: Can I download the report?

A: Yes. Reports can be downloaded as PDF from top right corner.

Q: How are guests ordered in the report?

A: Guests are listed by arrival time first, then by nightly rate (highest first). Companions on the same booking appear grouped together with the lead guest.

Q: What does the AI briefing cover?

A: Each AI brief covers three areas: the guest's loyalty and stay patterns, any key preferences or dietary/accessibility needs, and specific recommended actions for room setup and service ahead of their arrival.
