Summary: To create a booking manually in AXP (Alliants Experience Platform), navigate to the Bookings module, click New Booking, fill in the guest details, dates, room type, and rate, then click Create. Manual bookings are useful for walk-ins, phone reservations, and direct bookings. Bookings created on the Alliants Experience Platform (AXP) will not be reflected in the Property Management System (PMS). Instead, they will be stored exclusively within AXP and are intended primarily for testing purposes.
Permissions Required: Role required in AXP to create or modify bookings are Converser, Location Admin, or Brand Admin.
Creating a Booking on AXP
There are three primary ways to create bookings on AXP:
1. Global Navigation Menu
1. Navigate to the blue + button in to top right corner.
2. Click the option "Create Booking".
3. Fill in the necessary details in the side panel which pops up.
4. Click the button "Create Booking".
2. Guest Profile
1. Navigate to Search in the left hand side menu.
2. Find and select the profile from the table view.
3. Click the + button in the side panel next to the Bookings section.
4. Enter the necessary details.
5. Click the button "Create Booking"
3. From Booking module
Step 1: Start a New Booking
Click + New Booking in the Bookings module.
Step 2: Select or Create Guest
Search for an existing guest profile or create a new one. Link the guest to the booking.
Step 3: Enter Reservation Details
Fill in check-in date, check-out date, room type, number of guests, rate, and any special requests.
Step 4: Assign a Room
If a specific room is available, assign it during booking creation. Otherwise, room assignment can be done later.
Step 5: Create the Booking
Review the details and click Create. The booking will appear in the bookings list and on the calendar.
