Hotel staff may report that in some cases, IRD (In-Room Dining) email notifications do not display the guest’s room number. Instead:
The IRD email notifications shows a blank field where the room number should be.
The IRD request in conversations appears with a blank field.
In AXP Guest Profile > Service Orders the field displays "MOBILE" instead of the actual room number (e.g., 1402).
However, the correct room number is available in AXP Guest Profile > Bookings, PMS logs and AWS logs.
This is currently expected system behaviour but please feel free to share this as product feedback via our live chat option per the steps below.
Why Does This Happen?
The system replaces the room number with "MOBILE" under certain conditions.
The IRD request is not linked to a booking, which may cause this behavior.
Will This be Considered as a Future Improvement?
