Summary: The Bookings view in AXP (Alliants Experience Platform) shows all reservations in a table format. From the Bookings module you can sort by column, apply filters, customise which columns are displayed, and save filter combinations as Custom Views using the collapsible Views sidebar.
Permissions Required: Front Desk Staff, Reservations Team, and Operations Managers can use the Bookings list view. Saving a view for your whole Brand or Location may require Brand Admin or Location Admin permissions.
The Bookings tab provides a comprehensive table of all reservations, making it easy to find, sort, and manage bookings efficiently.
Sorting Bookings
Click on the Arrival, Departure, Nights, Room, or Booking No. column headers to sort by that field.
Click the same column header again to toggle between ascending and descending order.
Filtering Bookings
Click the Filter button (or the button showing the number of filters already applied, e.g. 2 applied) at the top of the Bookings page.
In the Filters panel, expand any of the available options to filter by:
Date Range,
VIP Level,
Brand Loyalty Level,
No. of People,
Booking Status,
Length of Stay,
Room Type,
Room Number,
Room Status,
Room Vacant,
Housekeeping Status, or
Booking Code.
3. Select your criteria, then click Apply.
💡 Tips: You can combine multiple filters at once — for example, Date Range and VIP Level — before applying them.
Saving a Custom View
Once you've applied the filters you want, you can save them as a Custom View so you don't have to re-apply them each time.
Apply the filters you want to save (see Filtering bookings above).
Click Save view.
In the Save view window, enter a View name.
Choose the View access for who can use this view:
View access | Who can see it |
Only me | Just you, listed under My Views |
Brand | Everyone at your brand, listed under Brand Views |
Location | Everyone at your property, listed under Location Views |
5. Click Create view. You'll see a confirmation message, and the new view appears in the sidebar.
Using the Views Sidebar
AXP organises your saved and system views in a collapsible sidebar so you can quickly switch between them without losing screen space.
Click the sidebar icon next to the Bookings page title to open the Views panel.
Views are grouped into:
System Views — default views provided by AXP (e.g. All bookings).
Brand Views — views published for your whole brand.
Location Views — views published for your property.
My Views — Custom Views you've created for yourself.
Click any view name to switch to it. The page updates immediately to show that view's filters and results.
Click the sidebar icon again, or the X, to collapse the panel.
Managing a Custom View
Open the Views sidebar.
Hover over the view you want to manage and click the ⋮ (more options) icon.
Choose one of the following:
Edit view — rename the view or change its View access.
Set as default view — makes this the view that loads automatically when you open Bookings.
Delete view — permanently removes the view.
⚠️ Warning: Deleting a view cannot be undone. You'll be asked to confirm before it's removed.
🗒️ Important: Views under Brand Views and Location Views can only be edited or deleted from this menu — Set as default view is only available for your personal views under My Views.
Customising Columns
Click the ⋮ icon on any column header.
Choose from:
Hide column
Choose columns — select which columns are displayed
Autosize this column / Autosize all columns
Pin column
Export CSV
To reorder columns, click and drag a column header left or right to the position you want.
Common Questions
Q: What's the difference between System, Brand, Location, and My Views?
A: System Views are built into AXP and available to everyone (e.g. All bookings). Brand Views and Location Views are Custom Views that have been published for your whole brand or property. My Views are Custom Views you've created for yourself only — visible only to you.
Q: Can I set a Custom View as my default?
A: Yes, for views under My Views. Open the Views sidebar, click the ⋮ next to the view, and select Set as default view. That view will load automatically the next time you open Bookings. This option isn't available for Brand Views or Location Views — for those, you can only Edit or Delete from the ⋮ menu.
Q: Can I rename a Custom View after creating it?
A: Yes. Click the ⋮ next to the view in the sidebar and select Edit view. You can update the view name or change who has access to it.
Q: Can I share a Custom View with my team?
A: Yes. When saving or editing a view, set View access to Brand or Location instead of Only me. This publishes the view for others at your brand or property to use. This option may require Brand Admin or Location Admin permissions.
Q: Can I delete a Custom View I no longer need? Is it reversible?
A: Yes, you can delete any Custom View you created. Click the ⋮ next to the view and select Delete view. You'll be asked to confirm — deleting a view is permanent and cannot be undone.
